Dyed my hair black but want to go dark brown how can I lighten it?

Solutions 1:

Cautiously

Good God....be cautious or it'll turn Grey!!!!

First what hair dye have you use???= title of brand name ????

How sometime ago in hrs or days was hair dyed?

What condition is the hair in? permed? broken?

To be able to provide you with proper insteructions, I have to be aware of brand. You don't need to do anything whatsoever drastic whether it was some "semi" like Natural Instincts

Should you used something without PEROXIDE(you should know without a doubt) time will lighten it, however, you might help it along.

For the way lengthy it has been......if it is been under 72 hrs...obtain a tube of hotoil...put it on and bag it for just two hrs.. Herbal is hair color's worst nightmare..it truly pulls it...but only when u get it done immediately.

Also a combination of Beginning(nowhere one) and Nueterogena shampoo(the cleansing one out of the woods square bottle) mix them together & affect hair, bag it for half an hourOrhair shampoo it. I truly do not recommend items like uNCOLOR or OOPS...method to harsh.

Answer 2:

Two Options

At this time, you've 2 options...

1. you can test and bleach the color. You'll have to bleach it to blonde after which re-dye it to whatever color you would like it to be. This might damage hair a bit, but it's much better than getting one you don't like.

2.  You can test and find out if your professional can strip the colour from your hair. That as well may cause some damage, and it is a bit more costly and time intensive.

The very first factor It is best to do is get into a store, or go go to your local cosmetology school, and request them the things they think the best brand out there is. They will show you. Sometimes if you want to the neighborhood school, they even get it done in a reduced cost. Bear in mind should you choose this, you'll be taken proper care of correctly because you will find trained professionals there who will help you.
